"Beginning my journey into leather craft in 2013, I have explored a wide variety of techniques, and types of leather. I like to mix soft leathers with oil-tan or veg-tan, play with colours and dyes and add interesting embellishments as handles or catches.

It seems that people like what I make, and understand the philosophy of supporting crafts people so that their skills increase and the craft itself continues. Each year I continue to expand my knowledge and techniques thanks to the great support of my customers. It’s also a way of connecting with the local community in general, and with other crafters in particular.

It has been an enjoyable few years taking my wares to our local Rural Markets each week and TactileArts craft fairs a few times each year. Thanks to their support for local crafts people like me, I now have products made in crocodile skin available at Crocosaurus Cove’s retail shop, Arley Rae in Mitchel St Darwin.
